System Settings keeps crashing on Sonoma 14.0 and its slowing down my computer. What can I do? Update or downgrade from Sonoma 14.0?

I recently updated to Sonoma 14.0. System settings keeps crashing with trying to update Apple ID. Page never loads. FCP is slower, hard drives are slower. There was a reboot loop, that has resolved now. If this keeps up I wont meet any work deadlines. What should I do? Should I downgrade the OS?
