With iOS17 allowing changes to be made directly on widgets from the home screen, I find myself accidentally touching radio buttons and inadvertently checking-off items from my lists in Reminders. The old "shake to undo" routine doesn't work and I do not know a workaround. Is it possible to "lock" the widget on the home screen so that random touches won't interfere with lists?

Update? Well actually, yes, I have installed the most recent update. But this is not a glitch to be fixed. This is a problem I’ve noticed during standard use in a properly functioning app. I don’t think my question was actually read and clearly understood before just automatically asking me to update. Lol
Lol. This is so non-Applelike. I don’t want to tell Apple what I’d like changed with a widget. I’m simply asking if there’s a way to lock the widget or turn off being able to access it directly from the Home Screen. I feel like I’m talking a bot. Definitely NOT what I expected.
Unhelpful. I would not recommended this forum at all. Not at all. I have a clear and simple question, but I feel like I’m getting the runaround. A simple “no” would suffice.

because of such things I’m occasionally thinking of moving from apple to android. I cannot believe they’ve ruined reminders app widget. It’s completely unusable any more.
