I just got a new mac desktop and have already transferred all the information from my old macbook. Today I could not log in, since the password I set yesterday is not being taken. After a few attemps, it got locked and then got unlocked automatically after 5 minutes. Since I see no option for recovering the password or accessing with some other way, I would like to know what can I do. Thanks.
Most likely the password you entered is slightly different than you remember it to be. Your option is to click on the link blow where it tells you how to reset a password.
