HomePod mini automatically plays Apple Music one

I have signed out and deleted Apple Music from all of my devices. Even though I never used Apple Music to begin with, I also turned off handoff from my iPhone and iPad. Whenever I tap my HomePod mini, it still automatically connects to Apple Music one and plays some terrible track that I would never listen to. I’ve reached out to technical support and they are clueless - I’ve been asked to reset the device four different times, questioned on what kind of charger I use, I’ve spent hours of my time for no resolution. Please, how can I get my HomePod to stop playing music from an app that I do not even have?
