Using nightstand mode

At night when I place my iPhone 14 Pro in nightstand mode the screen dims and displays the everything in red. But when I wake in the middle of the night the iPhone display will wake up and display the information in white. Shouldn’t it continuously display the information in red until removed from nightstand mode?

Hi mlawren1,

When Always On is enabled, your display should remain on. You'll also need to check the StandBy settings on your iPhone as well. This can be done by going to Settings > StandBy. You can turn this on there.

When Night Mode is on for StandBy, the screen adapts to low ambient light at night and displays in a red tint so that it’s not intrusive while you’re sleeping.
