Shazam won’t start up

Hi my Shazam has stopped working in last couple of days. I press the icon and it tries to start up but disappears again within a second. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone. I’ve tried everything I can think of but haven’t got a clue why it won’t work

any ideas

Hi Luis6666,

You took some great steps so far by trying to reinstall the app.

Let's try to delete the iCloud data for the app if there is any, just to make sure no corrupt app data is being restored:

  1. Go to Settings > [your_name]
  2. Tap iCloud
  3. Tap iCloud Backup
  4. Tap the backup labeled (This iPhone)
  5. Tap Show All and find Shazam in the list
  6. Turn off Shazam from backup, and choose Turn Off to delete the backup.

After that, try deleting Shazam, restarting your iPhone, and installing Shazam again.

At this install it should not contain any backed up data and launch normally.

If you still have trouble launching Shazam, contact Apple Support:
