Sonoma 14.0 results in slow computer and no screensaver

27inch 2019, 3 Ghz 6 core Intel Core i5.

After update to Sonoma 14.0, all was good for a couple of startups. Then the computer went really slow and there is no wallpaper at switching on. Looking at other comments on Sonoma there does seem to be a problem with this version. Is there an update coming to sort things out?

Macbook pro 2015 terrible slow after Monterrey update I really don't get it, My Macbook Pro 15" mid-2015 was working perfectly, everything was smooth, no problems at all, it was fast and reliable, however since the launch of Sonoma OS (this model didn´t upgrade anymore, but had a Monterrey Update). After that update my Mac became like a Windows laptop terribly slow, it gets stuck for everything even the most simple tasks. Did Apple put something in that Monterrey update to make us buy a new computer? I can't find another answer to this. System Settings keeps crashing on Sonoma 14.0 and its slowing down my computer. What can I do? Update or downgrade from Sonoma 14.0? I recently updated to Sonoma 14.0. System settings keeps crashing with trying to update Apple ID. Page never loads. FCP is slower, hard drives are slower. There was a reboot loop, that has resolved now. If this keeps up I wont meet any work deadlines. What should I do? Should I downgrade the OS?

There will be updates, but it seems to take about a yearto get thng really dtraitene out, then they're releasing a newer OS.
