Unable to sync iPhone 14 Pro Max with Macbook Pro. Sync starts on the Macbook says "Syncing (Step 2 of 4) - Preparing to Sync". Sync NEVER completes. I have to reboot my iPhone and my MacBook. I can take a iCloud backup and it shows and I can take a backup to the MacBook Pro without any problem. I just can not SYNC the iPhone to the MacBook Pro.

Hi TarHeel Fan, sadly there is no "solution" to the problem, only a "workaround". This is a known problem leaving many users frustrated that Apple has not taken appropriate action to fix this once and for all (it's a very old issue).

They don’t want to fix it- they want you to use the iTunes Store- things use to just work on Apple devices- not any more…
