After I downloaded iOS 17 on my iPhone 14 Pro i noticed something weird. I obviously know that iOS 17 adds new ringtones, but I want both my alarm and timer ringtone to be the old default one, Radar. So when I went to the clock app I set the alarm back to Radar manually. But when I ask Siri to set a alarm or timer, it always ends up playing Radial, the new default ringtone. Anyone know how to fix this?

Same issue here… no mater what tone is set “when timer ends” it always plays radial when you ask Siri to set the timer… if you set the timer in the timer app the select ringtone does play.

Siri is my preferred way to set a timer but I do not want to hear radial - this is recent issue with the recent update.

It's looking like a bug anyway, because if I set a different tone and ask Siri to set a timer it will use Radial. Best to leave a feedback to Apple
You will have to manually set the 'sound' as Radar in Alarm and 'when the timer ends' as Radar as Timer once. Once you set the tones, going forward it will be used as default tone in both settings.
