Mail priority

Hi all,

Mail emails are sent out high priority by default. Every new mail I click has a high priority, which makes me look demanding and just an awful person!

But it seems that Apple have no way of adjusting this apart from in every message. So EVERY TIME I send a message I have to manually change a dropdown to regular priority. Why would apply do this? I can accept that they don't have a priority setting, but why not just use normal priority as the default?

But the current version, if not already installed, is Ventura 13.6 and there is a Standalone Update to Safari 17

Sill can not fathom where the Header is in the E-mail

Thanks anyway.

It's very frustrating, I think the problem is not solvable. I don't understand what apple are playing at, why would you default all mail to high priority and not have a fix for it? I'm going to have to abandon my apple mail and use outlook or something.

If and only If you have set the " Priority " settings to High as the Default, it may continue to use it all the time.

Oh yes but I haven’t got a clue what they mean! What’s a header button? Mail help doesn’t tell you what a header button is and I can’t see the icon anywhere.
