My AppleID photo isn’t mine

I recently noticed that the photo on my Apple ID isn’t mine, it’s a picture of my sister.

I checked a few forums and everyone that has had this issue was sharing info with someone else.

My sister doesn’t have my Apple information. She is not on any phone plans that I have. We have different carriers. We are not sharing any Apple information. We aren’t even in the same state!

So how did this happen? How is her photo randomly linked to my account??

Hi StaceyAdamz,

We'd like to share some information to help you with your Apple ID photo. This would require access to the Apple ID in order to change this. We would recommend starting with How Safety Check on iPhone works to keep you safe - Apple Support and details about changing the photo can be seen here: Change your Apple ID photo on iCloud.com - Apple Support. If you have additional concerns, you'll want to contact Apple Support.
