In iOS 17.0.3 the Timer countdown no longer shows the time it will alarm. How do I fix this?

I updated to iOS 17.0.3 last week and it feels like a colossal mistake. First, I start getting spam Calender invite events that are likely viruses (which I have resolved at least temporarily from these boards) and secondly, I used to use the time to wake up to. For me it works better than setting an actual alarm. I used to just scroll up the minutes and hours to when I wanted to get up, but then I knew exactly how many minutes I had to sleep. Once I knew that, I would wake up a minute or two before it would alarm so I could shut it off and let my spouse continue to sleep soundly. Now it won't let me. Help! What can I do besides revert back to prior iOS?

Hello, I believe that I have the same question. The circled information used to show the exact time the alarm was to go off rather than the total amount of time for which the alarm was initially set. Is there a way to toggle this information to the time at which the alarm will go off? Thanks!

Hey djh223,

You mentioned an issue with the Timer function within the Clock app. Could you explain that in a little more detail? Just asking since we're not really getting too clear of an idea of what specifically has changed in your use of the function. Is it not showing the timer on the Lock Screen, or is something else occurring? If the issue is with a specific timer, does it change the behavior if you create a new timer? More info on that can be found on the Use multiple timers in Clock on iPhone page. The more details you can provide, the better equipped the community will be to assist.

Take care
