My iPhone and my watch are having issues ever since iOS 17. My watch tells me it is locked and that is need to u lock my iPhone to use the watch. But after I unlock my iPhone it doesn’t u loch my watch. Help!

I reset the watch and set it up again like new and it worked for about a day. Now it is doing it again. How do I get the phone to unlock my watch?

my phone is a company phone and has a forced setting that makes me use the laptop cord feature on the watch.

how do I fix this so my watch works? Right now I can only tell time with it.
