While suing the adaptor it suddenly stopped working….. Hence stopped charging my Mac on 7th oct without any outer damage and want an replacement

You might want to check and see if Optimized Battery Charging is turned on in your System Settings.
In System Settings, click Battery in the sidebar, click 
by Battery Health, then turn off Optimized Battery Charging.
See if this changes anything.
