Apple Card charge on trade in?

I tried to trade in my old phone for credit towards my iPhone 15, but accidentally sent it with a passcode still on. After (also accidentally- very annoying) accepting a trade in value of $0, my Apple Card was charged $250, the value they gave me for my phone. The thing is, they never took the $250 off the price of my new phone, so now I’m being told to pay $250 for the privilege of not having my old phone. How do I get this charge removed?
