Mail slow to load on iPad and iPhone
Running iOS 16.7 and it seems like ever since the update Apple Mail has been slow to load. Not true viewing in Gmail. Any suggestions for remedying? Thanks.

Not just slow to load for me; while the app is checking for/downloading emails on my iPad Pro 12.9" (2nd gen), the Mail app freezes, and it can take several seconds after downloading is completed before I can do anything in Mail. I can switch to other apps, so it's not the operating system that's frozen, just the Mail app (and when I switch back, it's still frozen). Been really noticeable since updating to 16.7.2.
