Reply not satisfactory.

As I have clearly mentioned that battery drainage is after the 17.0.3 update and I have not installed any new apps.

You're not the first to have reported this on these forums. This is a well-known issue. Power is a big concern for iPhone 14 and 15 series, along with after installing iOS17. Question is: "Jost how many people have actually reported this to Apple.

Troubleshooting a Draining iPhone Battery:

A. Battery Drain Info:

The iPhone battery will drain, unless it is plugged in and charging. With lots installed, the charge would be slower. As for how fast it would drain the battery, that would depend on the battery health and the volume (sound) you use.

  1. Go Here: iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support
  2. Scroll Down: to "Your battery's maximum capacity"

B. Verify the Baterry Health Percentage:

Apple recommends you get a new battery, once the Battery Health reaches 80% or lower. When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery. Unfortunately, these if no way to know how, nor when, then percentage decrease occurred. So see if it tine for a new battery...

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: Battery
  3. Tap: Battery Health
  4. View: [the percentage]
  5. Is it 80% or less?  If so, it is time for a new battery.

C. Troubleshooting the Battery:

D. Report this to Apple

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

To get started, we'd suggest implementing the steps here which can help maximize your battery: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple

Additionally, let's check what your iPhone says is draining your iPhone. Go to Settings > Battery and remove or reinstall the offending app or apps draining your battery: About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
