Just received an iPhone 15 Pro 256GB (on iOS 17.1.2) Dec 7 and when charging via cable, the phone gets ridiculously piping hot. Was on the phone with Apple for an hour and a half and they called back to tell me it was normal. Are you kidding me? Did not accept that answer and they scheduled an appointment for me at the store to do diagnostics, etc. Apple, you need to sort this out now.

Have you updated the iPhone 15 to iOS 17.0.3? If not, you need to do so.
