Screen turning black

When I end my call from other side iPhone screen turns black , don’t know how to disconnect as it is totally black

iPhone 16 Pro Max screen remains black and unresponsive to touch during calls I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Try and force restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
