Unable to turn off screen distance on iPhone

We'd love to assist you. To clarify, was Screen Time enabled by a parent or guardian on your device? If so, their passcode will be needed to turn off this feature. You can find more details here:

If not, you should be able to turn off the feature using these steps:

"How to turn Screen Distance on or off

1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.
2. Tap Screen Distance, then turn Screen Distance on or off."

It’s so frustrating! Exactly the same for me!

I can’t get rude if this even when I’m putting in my password it’s so anoying pls get rude if this I hate it in I know everyone els dose to so pls get rude of this it’s way way to anoying

I figured it out you guys!!! On the PARENT profile/phone, go to settings-> screen time->and the 3rd from the bottom there is a blue button that says “change screen time passcode”

my sons iPhone keeps on giving him screen distance warnings and we would like to turn it off. He is set up in our family. Neither mine or his passcode works as the PIN number when you toggle it off. Interestingly the pin is only 4 digits long when both of our pins are 6. Any help would be great it’s very frustrating!

I'm having the same issue on my daughter's iPad since I updated it last night. I never turned it on, but yet it's on. When I try to turn it off, it's asking for a 4 digit password. I have entered my password, her password, and neither work. Her dads password is 6 digits, so obviously it won't work either.

My friend turned on her screen time limit in September of last year, since then she has tried numerous times to turn it off, but the password she put it won't work. I've heard most phones have a "forgot screen time password" but she doesn't have one. I've also looked into her parental controls but nothing is there/limiting it. I don't want to reset her phone, but I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help me?

im trying to turn off screen distance on my iPhone because its sooo annoying when im playing a game or just watching youtube and it randomly appears. i tried to turn it off, i need to add the “4 digit code” password and i dont even know it, so i watched some videos on youtube and most of them said “click on forgot password”, when i dont even have that button. when im trying to type in the PW, it always keep saying “try again in 60 mins”:

i have this problem and it’s saying i need to enter a passcode, i never even turned it on nor do i know the passcode. any help?
