Unable to Scan to computer since installation of Somona on my MacBook. This worked fine previous to this update.

Since installing Somona, I am unable to use the scan to computer function on my HP 8740 All in One. The Mac is not listed as an option on the Printer, and the Scan function on the MAC will not work and returns an error. I am unable to add the scanner, it returns an error message. I can not find an option that allows me to enable or fix this on any utility. The printer works, and the scanner has previously worked with this MacBook for several years. Please advise

Thanks for your response. I've tried to identify the "somona" drivers which I think will be the 10.15. version. I think I have the latest including the HP Smart utility. I am able to scan using the utility. I am not able to use the button on the printer/scanner to scan to the MACbook. Thanks again

Check the HP website for a Sonoma compatible driver.

OK, but you still need to either get the fully compatible driver or determine there isn't one. You do that by consulting with HP. HP determines if they are going to fully support Sonoma; not Apple.
