My phone Siri spin ball works but doesn’t respond. I’ve tried all the tricks but still nothing

Are you asking Siri something when the ball appears? It’s waiting for a question or a command.
I have the same problem. I either say „hey siri” or hold my side button on iphone, the siri orb appears, I ask my question, the leaf ball thing starts spinning as if there will be an answer and then nothing, it either keeps spinning or just goes away. Works fine on my apple watch ultra and homepod.

My phone works - it’s my husbands - I’ve compared all the settings. It always worked before - like who won the NFL game last night - no answer. My phone answers and gives me the results
