I recently had to upgrade my hearing aid app to “Oticon Companion” from “Oticon On”. I have an Apple Watch-series 3 that I like to use to control my hearing aid settings on the fly. I have downloaded the new app to my watch and it seems to work just fine if I access it from my apps list. However, it doesn’t seem to be available as a complication anymore. Can this be updated, somehow?

You must ask oticon if they can provide a complication for that .
If your hearing aids are Made for iPhone (MFI) you can also control your hearing aids via the control center of your watch. Swipe up on your watch face to open the control center, in the control center swipe all the way down until you see an ear icon, press that to see your hearing aid settings.

I can switch programs via the control center! It is called pre-settings or something like that in the control center. I also have a lot of program settings in my hearing aids
Thank you, WheelieNick. I did not realize you could control the hearing aid from the control center; that is helpful. The only aspect missing in that approach, it seems, is the ability to switch between program settings (for example, I have one program for emphasizing speech when there is ambient noise or another for dulling sounds/frequencies when it is a really loud environment). I can still use the app, but the complication was very convenient for volume and program control. I will contact Oticon as you have suggested. m1313
