How can I get the content from my Apple Music Library onto an iPod Classic
I recently bought an iPod Classic 5th Gen from eBay that's brand new (hasn't arrived yet though). Assuming though that I can get the proper cables and everything hooked up to my M1 MBP running Sonoma and Finder can detect it, how can I get the contents of my AM Library onto the iPod? I can't imagine Apple is just going to let me do this and probably has some copyright protections in place.
But, I do have some albums in my Library that were imported from CD's (I collect vinyl and sometimes I can't get the album I want in that format, so I get it on CD instead). Would these work, even though most of them end in the .m4a format? Or would I have to delete them and re-import them as .mp3's for the iPod to be able to take them?
And finally, what would be the exact process for doing all this? I've tried looking on YouTube but most everything there talks about using iTunes, which I can't use because my OS is too new.
