How do I remove the red dot from Voicemail? It still displayed when all the voicemails have been listened to and it notifies me that I have a new voicemail message when I check it is the old voicemail messages that I have already listened to.

From the previous IPhone - swore I’d never set up voicemail. It’s the most annoying feature to have. And after it’s set up- it’s just a never ending nightmare…
now there’s this red flag dot showing up on the phone voicemail asking me to set up voicemail. I want the red dot GONE… And STOP asking me to set it up- NO!
