fujitsu fi-6130 scanner

Was offered a fujitsu fi-6130 scanner, but it looks like there is no MAC driver for that scanner. Is this accurate, and are there any other options to solve this incompatibility?

Vuescan (commercial) is truly great for scanning and restoring/correcting photo's and negatives. I do have a license and use it mostly for scanning negatives.

In my experience VueScan is not so great for document scanning. The screen is rather bulky and I run into issue with duplex scanning (ADF) every single time. (experienced this issue with the Fujitsu Fi-6130 and Canon P-215)

So for document scanning I'd grab SANE with NAPS2 any day.

Either way; It's worth a try since SANE and NAPS3 are both free, comes OCR, ADF and duplex support, PDF, etc.

Someone recommended me ExactScan (also commercial), but I haven't tried that one yet.
