Yep, you heard right. My Fire Stick doesn't support AirPlay either. I don't often mirror my iPhone to the TV - mostly, I'm watching Netflix or different TV channels. But, when I do want to show something, like a TikTok video, on the TV, Docast https://apps.apple.com/us/app/docast-cast-and-mirror-to-tv/id6446948344 makes it pretty easy. Just download it to your phone and follow the setup instructions. Actually, the app store has quite a few apps for this if you search for "screen mirroring."

If GameChanger does not have an app for the Firestick, you'll have to watch the game on your phone or in the other room. If you recently bought the Firestick, it may be worthwhile to return it to get another Roku.

Amazon's Fire Stick does not support AirPlay. You'd have to install the app(s) for Hulu, Netflix, etc on your Firestick instead.

Fire Sticks can't do AirPlay... I've got a Fire Stick 4K myself, and nope, AirPlay's a no-go. So, if you wanna mirror, you've got a couple of routes: there are mirror apps like Docast, Airbeam, or Replica. They're pretty decent, but they all come with a catch - you get a time limit on mirroring unless you fork over some cash for a subscription. And for Airbeam and Replica, you've gotta install them on both your phone and TV, which is a bit of a drag. Docast is kinda the easier pick here.

The other way to go is the old-school cable mirroring if your TV's got an HDMI input.
