Playing Sping from the game store, and when I start a new game, I have to wait 3 or 4 seconds before I can start the game again. Before game mode intruded into my fun, I could stat a new game simply by pressing the space bar.
I KNOW all i have to do is go to the menu and turn game mode off, but there is no menu in Sping. How can I globally DISABLE game mode and turn it on when I want it on or do I have to stop enjoying Sping?

I'd like to see this feature taken off again, too. It doesn't do what it is supposed to do. It makes the whole Mac struggle and stutter. AND - gaming is ruined instead of improved! This should be called "No Gaming Mode".
Honestly it won't even stay off despite Apple saying otherwise … you're hurting yourself Apple. Stop rushing and get back to quality, please. :(

Yep. This is crashing many games for me and is just unwanted. Sonoma has been days of hunting down workarounds to turn off half-baked features I don't want.
I dread updating macs.
