Apple Music library missing post iOS update on my iPhone

Since updating my iPhone 13 Pro to iOS 17, the Downloads folder in my Music Library has disappeared. Looking in Settings, Music I can see all that music is still there, physically on my phone. Apple Music refuses to see this downloaded music and no amount of app relaunching, resetting, restarting, praying over and meditating will solve this issue.

I've done that. I've unchecked everything except for the Downloads folder and it still doesn't appear. Thanks.

Thanks.

As I mentioned, no amount of restarting or resetting was helping. I did sign out of my account as suggested, same behavior.

I deleted the app from my phone and downloaded it from the App Store. This did delete all my downloaded media however, once reconnected with my Apple Music Account, I'm able to see downloads in the Library again.

Weird, an iOS has never done this to my device before.

Thanks for the suggestion.

To close this thread out (I'd forgotten about it to be honest) and tell others how I solved it; not a single one of the suggestions offered up here helped.

I deleted the Music app off of my phone, I then reinstalled it. The Download folder appeared, but empty. I have had to manually find and grab all the music I previously had in that folder.

I've had an iPhone since the first version, this type of thing has never happened before but, there's a first for everything.

I've been having the same issue for over a year. I would make a playlist and then a iOS update would happen and delete some of my playlists. I would have to delete all playlists from my phone using iTunes, Sync my phone so all the playlists are gone, then remake the playlists and sync them again to have them on my phone.

Now it's impossible to do that since iTunes no longer supports music or movies. Here's the anti-consumer part, in order to sync our phones we need to be subbed to Apple Music. That is the only way to obtain any music we've ripped from CD's or Digital codes. Same goes for movies as well.

They locked us out of our own music library.
