Can’t delete VPN added by Palo Alto Network’s GlobalProtect app

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I installed Palo Alto Network’s GlobalProtect app from the app store. Later I deleted the app, however the VPN still shows up under Settings > VPN > DEVICE VPN.

Also, when I click on the VPN there is no “Delete VPN” option.

As it stands now I can not get this VPN off my device. This is happening on my iPad and iPhone.

Besides wiping my device and starting over, can anyone thing of a fix for this?

Every VPN has a different way of managing software.

If you're using MacOS, go to Finder, choose the VPN you want to get rid of, and delete. Reboot your machine. Check that the VPN isn't in menu bars or pull down menus.

That did it.

My job requires we install a profile on our mobile devices to use company outlook, teams, etc. The GlobalProtect app was part of that profile. Once I deleted the work profile, it removed the GlobalProtect VPN.

Try reinstalling the App - then restart your iPad - before again removing the App from the iPad.
