Apple News+ Sharing

I added Apple News+ because I can share with my family. For some reason my son who is also an Apple user can’t accept the sharing request, he keeps getting a failure when I send to him.

Family Sharing of Apple News+ I purchased 3 free months of Apple News+ and added Family sharing to provide the News+ to another family member . After verification process was completed the settings are showing the subscription is shared. Both iPads are running 16.3 and have been rebooted. The Family member has even uninstalled and reinstalled Apple News App but after all that, it stills doesn’t allow the sharing and only shows News+ available to be purchased on that family members iPad ???

I have set up family sharing on my iPad to share my subscription to Apple News plus with my my husband (older Mac laptop). When he tries to access it it wants to charge a new subscription. What are we doing wrong? l have set up family sharing on my ipad to share my subscription to Apple News Plus with my husband. He has an older Mac laptop. When he tries to access Apple News Plus his laptop wants to charge for another subscription. What are we doing wrong?
