Initializing a New iPhone will lose Home settings?

Hi, after many years and generations of iPhone transferring the same back up, l'd like to initialise as new because this new iOS 17 seems great but my phone is not performing as expected. At end everything is on iCloud so I don't mind losing the apps. I was anyway wondering about Home. I have all my lights and other stuff connected, a lot of automations, schedules etc. will I lose everything or when I log with my I will get back everything? I'm really worried I have to re set everything from scratch. Also, we are in two in the family settings, I am the owner and my partner is administrator, what will happen?

Home is signed into iCloud and won’t be lost setting up a new phone. If you sign in with the same Apple ID you used for Home and makes sure in settings - your name - iCloud - show all apps - Home is enabled, everything will still be there. It syncs across all devices that support Home.

I never use my back ups setting up a new phone because all I really want is all the data I stored in Apps I had signed into iCloud, enabling iCloud for them puts it all back. Notes, contacts, photos etc. Any third party apps can be redownloaded from the App Store. Home is exactly as it was on the old phone.

before you set up the new phone, make sure iCloud back up is on in the old phone and you can choose back up now. Just in case.
