TrueDepth camera Issue - Face ID has been disabled.

  • No wear and tear
  • Suddenly few days back it stopped working after software updates.
  • Is this a new strategy to make customers upgrade their iphones?
  • On Apple Store visit - representative mentioned to either have your camera replaced - (~160$)
  • Unwilling to buy Iphone15 or pro as it does not excites me.

Any thoughts?

I tried below actions to resolve but nothing works:

  • Restart
  • Reset FaceId
  • Clean the front screen n camera

See→If Face ID is disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support. This is usually a hardware problem, a failure of the TrueDepth camera. The link provides some guidance, and also a link to contact Apple support to discuss repair options.
