I can’t set up my iPhone 8 voice mail either it asks for a passcode/password or it wants a greeting then it goes no further. I have no password or passcode, I Put I a custom greeting nothing. I have also gone to the voicemail app to open it up but it is grayed out hence I can’t do anything there either on my iPhone.
and At&t has also tried to set it up too but they can’t either and told me to ask you and see if you could help some how, so here I m.

Your line isn't provisioned by AT&T to use visual voicemail, contact them and speak to a tech.
