Before the latest upgrades, my HomePod, first version, used to default as the Siri responder no matter what other iOS devices are near. After Upgrading to iOS 17 on phone and HomePod, If my iPhone is present both iPhone and HomePod show siri lights and then they "cancel" each other out and no Siri actions happen. Any solutions??

We would love to see if we can help. Although is happens often with devices that listen for us to call on them, we can possibly adjust settings on your iPhone to make it change the way it is activated to respond. If that sounds like something you'd like try, just follow the steps below on your iPhone to turn off "Listen for", and enable "Press Side Button for Siri" this will make it so Siri will not activate on the iPhone without pressing the Side Button.
