iOS17 Updated and now I can't find some friends

I updated my iPhone14 to iOS17 and now I can't find everyone I normally find with find friends - everyone can find me, but I can't find one specific person (they can see me on their iPhone 12) but their location reads "No location found". We have both restarted our phones and deleted and resent follow requests. Previously it was saying the location but not current time. There are others in our group having the same issue with this one person's phone. How do we fix it?

Hello DebKaFaNJ,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. Since this happens with others in your group, it seems that the issue is isolated to the person whose location isn't shown. We'd recommend having them check to make sure their location is still being shared. The following is from Share your location in Find My on iPhone - Apple Support.

"Share your location with a friend

Tap , then choose Share My Location.
In the To field, type the name of a friend you want to share your location with (or tap and select a contact).
Tap Send and choose how long you want to share your location."
