On the iPhone 15 the orange microphone indicator looks like misplaced on top right, almost touching the edge during phone calls. Screenshot from the home screen. Do you have the same issue? Is it only on iPhone 15 or also on the 15 Pro Max or previous models?
Maybe it is an unintended design glitch and would be of interest for Apple to fix it.

Here same is happening; very strange. I contacted Apple Support; they made an appointment with Apple Store to check the hardware. I think it's not hardware-related, but a small bug in iOS.

I have the same issue on 15.
Yes it happens to me when the dynamic island is being used for the call animation, then the mic indicator moves to literally the same position as urs.
Correction: Actually I have this on the iPhone 15 Pro, not iPhone 15.

Are you the calling person? The mic. indicator appears for me top right while I am the calling person during the call and on the homescreen (locked).
I was the calling person.
That's weird. I admit, I don't talk on the phone very much so, it's possible I've missed something.
