Bought the new iPhone 15Pro 2 days ago. It's heating up every time I am on a call (in just a few mins ~ 5mins). Never had such issues with my 12 pro or other iPhones. All ok when not on calls. So it looks like this issue is occurring only when on calls. No apps running in background.

I had the same problem yesterday during a call with an iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 17.0.2.
The battery went from 60 to 25% in just 1 hour of calling.
The iPhone was very, very hot and I preferred to stop the call.
I checked the battery usage statistics during the call via Settings then Battery.
71% correspond to "Home and lock screen" and 29% to "Phone".
Probably a software bug, wait for a fix...
I also have the 15 Pro and in the last 2 days my phone gets extremely hot when making calls. The call will last about 2 minutes before the heat is so intense that I either ended the call or had the put the phone down because the feeling was so uncomfortable. This is just terrible and this needs to be corrected ASAP.
Apple-what are you going to do about this for customers like myself?
