No text alerts

Downloaded iOS 17.0.1 yesterday and now I’m not getting text alerts. Everything is turned on like it’s supposed go be. I’ve researched a lot of “fixes” and I’ve done them. Is this a bug in the operating system? Anyone know if Apple knows about this and is working on a fix?

No text alerts after last update I know this has been talked about for months. Mine started with last update. I did all the trouble shooting. Nothing changed. First apple rep did nothing. A senior told me to wipe my phone, restore to factory settings and reinstall. I thought that was a rather extreme response. my alerts are intermittent. Sometimes I get the tone. Sometimes nothing. why doesn’t apple fix this? It’s a huge problem.

iPhone 15pro not alerting when a text comes in Please advise how to get alerts on my new iPhone 15 pro. Upon reading several comments, it appears to be a big problem with this phone. When will this get fixed?

Same thing happening to my. I have the iPhone 12. No alert sounds with texts.
