My series 8 watch will not charge after update

I updated to 10.1 and since the upgrade it will not go to charging status or if it does it is only for a second before the charge status drops out when placed one the chargers, I tried all the reboot suggestions listed in the search for help and also tried different charging devices with no success.

the watch is about to lose all charge.
