It appears that your microphone is not working when you are using the speakerphone function. I recommend that you review the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working - Apple Support

I had the same issue with voice islolation mode. When making normal network calls, the other party could not hear me at all.

Troubleshooting steps:

  • called different people. I could hear them. They couldn’t hear me
  • phone restart
  • reset network settings
  • tried with and without AirPods
  • made data calls using WhatsApp etc. they all worked.
  • airplane mode on then off.

eventually I decided to turn off voice isolation mode however the option wasn’t there in control centre.

hung up, made another call, checked it again and this time the voice is isolation option was present in control centre. Toggled it off. It worked. Other party could immediately hear me again. Toggled it back on. Other party could still hear me. Definitely voice isolation bug on ios17
