Pairing aJBL speaker to my IPad

I just bought aJBL essential speaker and I can pair it to my iPhone but it won’t pair to my Ipad anyone know why??

Many Bluetooth audio devices can only pair with one phone/iPad/etc at a time.

Put the speaker in pairing mode, then try connecting it to the iPad.
