Outgoing FaceTime call ringer glitched.

iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 17.0.1 update has a FaceTime outgoing call ringer glitch. When I tried to FaceTime a friend, they didn’t answer, but the ringing didn’t stop and just got louder. I locked my phone and the sound continued but became very glitchy and more robotic sounding. I had to completely restart my phone to make the sound stop. Is it just my phone or has it happened to others?
