The Lock (water drop) option appears to have been removed from the Fitness app’s workout options in WatchOS 10.
Seems like it’s automated for swimming, but I used it for other workout types where the screen and button often gets knocked e.g. boxing where gloves cover the watch.
Any ideas how to restore the option aside from boxing underwater??

It *is* removed, it used to be part of the workout side screen where you can pause the workout etc. Now it's only available via the separate control center. Nonsensical change, now the side screen has only 3 buttons and bottom right 25% of the screen left empty and unused.

it is not removed, the option has just been relocated so you now have to press the Side Button to access Control Center.
The bottom button then press the water dropplet.

Agree, another totally useless “upgrade” on the OS. How about Apple does something to improve battery life instead of this stupidity?
Can you explain how? When I press the side dial button, it brings me back to the main page displaying all of the apps.
