Apple Music and ipad

Apple Music app on my iPad Pro 11”, 2018, A1980, indicates Airplane Mode is on but is not on and WiFi is connected. It worked until IOS 17 installed. Help.

I am fully connected to WIFI (hence ability to post this question) and I do not have Airplane mode on. It’s frustrating reading through the non-answers being suggested by apple’s “experts” on this forum instructing customers to “connect to cellular service” to correct the issue when the issue is clearly elsewhere (wifi or airplane mode?). As far as I know cellular service is not a requirement to access the apple music library I pay for. An internet connection should is. And again, I have that. Does anybody have an actual solution for this problem and how to get Apple music to recognize it has an internet connection?

Apple Music on iphone 12Mini with no SIM, wifi is connected Apple Music does not work on my son's iPhone 12 Mini without a sim card. He is using it as a iPod. If I put my SIM in it, even with Airplane mode on, my family plan allows him in and the Browse button is avaliable. I remove my SIM card, the browse button dissapears and Apple Music displays "Cannot Connect". Again wifi is connected fine so it should not be a problem. Other Apps connect to the internet fine. This seems like a bug in the OS related to Apple Music. Can anyone confirm this? Any other ideas? On my iPhone 11 pro Max. Apple Music works with and without the SIM card with no issue. This appears to just be the iPhone 12 Mini or this specific device.

Same issue with my iPad 7th gen Wi-Fi model 32gb, Apple Music app does not load through shortcut, after manually load I start a track only to stop playing after it ends , all music and shortcuts work normally on iPhone ,sometime the app starts but blank screen, if the track starts no album art, next it’s frozen only to be forced closed ; I have restored the device , alas no difference , would love to hear a response from Apple on this. Besides the usual “next update will fix the issue”.
