Lost tabs on iphone Safari IOS17

Similar issue here, except my tabs were there after updating to iOS 17, but the following morning I opened safari and all of the tabs were gone. In fact, it reverted back all the tabs that I had closed over 3 years ago. But what’s weird is the history is up to date (but not the recently closed tabs history). The same thing for my wallpapers. They were all there after the update, but the following morning they all were gone and it reverted back to only one wallpaper I had from 2 iOS’s ago. The only thing I did overnight was charge my phone. So weird and so frustrating!!!

Same thing happened to me. I noticed the Recently Closed Tabs disappeared from the start page, even though that option is turned on. I tried doing a long hold on the + at the top right, but it was pulling up old tabs that have been closed.
