I have a MacBook Pro. I damaged the screen and am unable to view anything. I purchased a new MacBook Air and need to transfer over information from my pro to the air but I cant see anything to transfer over anything.

You might try Target Disk Mode but you did not identify your model MacBook Pro: Transfer files between two Mac computers using target disk mode. TDM on recent Macs requires an operable display.
