Need standby mode while in charging and not charging

You're not addressing Apple here and we, just users like you, are not aware of Apple decisions/designs/future plans.

Obviously. That’s what he’s saying. They need to make it possible to do it on iPhone 12 and without the charger connected.

same they are so unfair. I also barely charge my phone at night it’s so pointless why would they add a future charge only? Like they should make it for non charge also!

Completely agree. Why would you design a feature like this that only works on a charger. That needs to be fixed without hurting feelings. It is a nice idea but I do not charge my phone at night so it’s kinda pointless for me. It also took at to long to get it to work on local time.

I’m not a fan of charging my phone over night as it drains the battery eventually over time. I would like to see the standby feature without it having to be charged having both options seems really nice. I mean as long as touch the phone and standby feature is there without also draining it like the IPhone 15 where it doesn’t fully turn off the screen.
