Apple Watch Ultra distance wrong after watchOS 10 update

Same distance issue with Apple Watch Ultra with 10.0 & 10.1, but much more extreme - and it mainly seems to be confined to the Workout app without iPhone.

Latest case:

• Apple Watch Ultra with WatchOS 10.1 and no iPhone
• Ran 5km with others (using Garmin & Apple Watch with WatchOS9)
• Workout app measured **only 2.0km**. Workout map showed a single point.
• BUT: FitIV app automatically imported the workout from Apple Health and showed the correct 5km distance and the full route on the map. Weird!
• During the run, GPS seemed to be reporting correct location. But distance was way too low.
• When I export from FitIV to Strava, Strava also shows the correct map, but a slightly difference distance compared to FitIV (5.06km vs 4.92km). 🙄

I am also having the same issue since i updated to watch os 10.3. now for same 1 km walk the watch is showing a time of more than 9 minutes instead of 8 min and few seconds.....i wonder why Apple is taking so long to fix this issue!

Same issue on the Apple Watch series 4. Using both GPS and "Apple" (GPS+Sensors) for distance/pace on WorkOutdoors. Distances are off by 25% or so. Apple nerds need to use their product before shipping.

Perhaps I was too harsh on Apple....the issue may be with the WorkOutdoors app. I just tried walking a known distance with the Apple hiking workout and the distance was spot-on. Hopefully either Apple or the author of WorkOutdoors will resolve the distance error issue soon.

Same problem on well known 10k distance. Several years measured on watch os9 and different garmins. Than after update on watch os10 lost +-500 meters. So pace is too much incorrect for races. Did all resets and calibration, left/right arm, w/without iphone - nothing helps.

My ultra watch is showing I did like 6 miles today when I only got 2162 steps which is less than a mile. I just updated my watch to not sure if that did anything. Has anyone else had this thanks
