iPhone 13 Pro Max Face ID not working

I have tried all the “fixes”- even restoring and upgrading to iOS 17. Apple updates before broke my Face ID. Can we get a fix for this apple? Every time I try to put in a new Face ID it just says to move camera lower.

Face ID stopped working on my iPhone after iOS 18.2 update 12 Pro Max - iOS 18.2 I've reset my Face ID because it stopped working after the update to iOS 18, and when I try to set it up the message I get is "Face ID is not available - try setting up Face ID later". My camera is fine, it's not that. I've restarted the phone, that doesn't help. I'm up to date with the iOS, so that's not the issue. I've even called Apple support and she said it should be fixed on next update but that already came & went, and didn't fix it either. It stopped working the moment iOS 18 was installed, that's all I know. Does anyone have any idea of how to resolve? It's a pain not having it work. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Face ID not working after update and face ID reset, can you help? I have an iPhone 11 iOS 17.3.1 and I have tried everything to get my face ID to work! I have cleaned my camera and replaced the screen case (my camera worked great and still works wonderfully) and I have tried both resetting and updating my iPhone (to the current software) and my iPhone is just not letting me do face ID. Is there anything else I can try?

So I took it to the “genius” bar, and they tell me they don’t know why it’s not working, and a $300.00 dollar replacement camera might not even fix the problem- in other words nothing was done.

I know for a fact it was an iOS update that caused the problem, but Apple refuses to do anything about it.
